The problem
Listing pages were slow to load, had thin and duplicated metadata across near-identical listings, and there was no reliable way to tell which listings or search terms actually produced an enquiry. Marketing spend was allocated mostly on instinct.
What we did
- Technical SEO. Rebuilt listing pages with unique structured data per property, fixed duplicate-content issues from near-identical listings, and cut page weight so Core Web Vitals passed on real 4G connections.
- Site rebuild. Moved the listings site to Next.js with image optimisation and static generation for high-traffic pages, cutting load time substantially.
- Measurement. Instrumented every enquiry form with event-level tracking back to the specific listing and search term that produced it.
The outcome
Organic traffic to listing pages grew substantially after the rebuild, and with real attribution in place the team can now see which listings and keywords actually turn into viewing requests, not just which pages get the most visits.
